Abstract:
Bangia fuscopurpurea is a kind of high-value economic seaweed rich in EPA and other fatty acids and it is a unique cultured algae in Fujian Province. In order to further promote the cultivation of
B.fuscopurpurea and solve the industrial problems of high impurities and rotten food existing in traditional raft cultivation,we conducted the cultivation mode of suspension propagation in kelp phytotron glass room with temperature 9.0~22.0℃ during the period from December 9,2021 to February 10,2022.The results showed that the maximum average daily growth rate could reach 18.18%·d
-1 and 21.39%·d
-1 in the 50 L film bag air-lift photobioreactor and 1 000 L culture tank, respectively, which the yield was much higher than that in indoor cement pond culture and marine raft culture.Ash content and crude fat separately increased by 20.81% and 25.00%,protein content decreased by 18.15% compared with raft net curtain cultivation,at the same time, the quality of unsaturated fatty acids was also better than that the latter.Land-based suspension propagation aquaculture could effectively avoid the problem of impurity pollution in marine aquaculture which was of great value to improve the processing efficiency and quality of
B.fuscopurpurea.In this paper,we reported the land-based aquaculture of
B.fuscopurpurea for the first time, which will provide new models and technologies for the facility aquaculture of macroalgae.
